Categories of consumer health data collected, and why

All of it is collected for one purpose: to show you your own measurements over time, and to work out the figures the app displays from them. It is not used for anything else.

• Account. Your email address, your password and your display name.
• Details. Gender, age and height, which the healthy ranges are worked out from.
• Body composition. Weight, skeletal muscle mass, body fat mass and percentage, total body water, lean and dry lean mass, basal metabolic rate, segmental lean and fat readings, and the score the device prints, taken from your result sheet.
• Food. What you logged, its calories, protein, carbohydrate, fat and sugar, the portion you ate, and the time you logged it.
• Training. The dates you trained, which machines, and the weight, repetitions and sets for each.
• Goals. Your calorie, protein, carb and fat targets, your body goals, and how often you want to train.
• Spending. What you spent, on what, where, and when, the category you filed it under, and any budgets you set.
• Photos. Pictures you take of result sheets, meals, gym machines, receipts and price tags.

Where it comes from

• From you directly. Anything you type into the app.
• From photos you upload. Numbers read out of pictures you choose to take.
• From your device. Only by way of the result sheet you photograph. Bodivio does not connect to any device.

What is shared

• Photos you choose to scan. Sent out to be read, and only then. Nothing is sent in the background.
• Everything else. Not shared. It is stored so the app can show it back to you, and a copy is kept on your own phone so it still opens without a signal. Logging out removes that copy.

Who it is shared with

• Where your data is stored. An outside company holds your account, your readings and your photos, and handles logging in.
• Where the app runs. An outside company serves the app to your phone.
• Who reads your photos. When you scan a photo, it goes to an outside company that reads the numbers off it and sends them back. Only the photo, and only when you scan one.

Your rights, and how to use them

These are the rights RCW 19.373.040 gives you.

• See what is held. Settings has a Download my data button. It gives you every reading, meal, session and machine as a file.
• Delete it. Settings has a Delete everything button. It removes your data, your photos and your login, and it cannot be undone.
• Withdraw consent. Deleting your account withdraws your consent and ends the collection.
• Ask a person. Email aqrabawi.aya@gmail.com. Requests are answered as soon as they can be, and within 45 days at the latest. That is the limit RCW 19.373.040 sets.
